Indigenous Education Content in Digital Art (Adobe Creative Cloud and Similar

This presentation will describe how the goals of incorporating indigenous content into K-12 education can be achieved within a Digital Art and Digital Media courses.  In consultation with local indigenous representatives, our school teaches Adobe Illustrator, laser cutting, and similar state-of-the art tools while also teaching about the core elements of traditional indigenous art.  This session will illustrate how contemporary technology can preserve tradition.
